Blackouts on suddenly standing up position//

If you are one of those experencing blackouts (ie., you see sudden blackening of your surrounding, lightheadness) when you stand up, usually sudden, its noting but a condition called orthostatic/positional hypotension. There is nothing to be scared of as this is a common phenomenon experienced by many people.
So you must be wondering why does this happen, I am going to write it down as simplest possible without using any of the medical jargons.
When you suddenly stand up from a lying down or sitting position, due to gravity most of the blood in your body is actually collected(pooling of blood) on the lower parts of your body, thus causing low blood circulation(due to low blood pressure) in your brain leading to symptoms such as the blackouts. Normally this is prevented by feedback mechanism causing sudden rise in blood pressure; this feedback mechanism respond much faster in individuals who are physically active.
HOW TO PREVENT???
Here are some few guides that you can do at home
1. Take some time to stand up, not sudden. If u were sleeping sit on the for atleast a minute before standing and moving around.
2. Exercise: go for morning jogging, gym, walking around, sprint; basically exercises that will make you tired, this will help u to improve your cardiovascular system.
3. Drink plenty of fluids.
Most important is that you get involved in physical activities, don't expect to see the changes overnight!!!!
